All About Wine on Wednesday


Waterbrook Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Smell:                        Blueberry, cedar


Taste:                         Dark fruit, firm tannins


Served with:             Spaghetti Carbonara


Overall Impression: Lusciously wonderful


Occasion for wine: Sunday Supper


G’s Final Comments: “Excellent, really, really good.”


T’s Final Comments: “I loved it. Waterbrook is a Walla Walla winery that we’ve never really visited before. Mostly because it’s such a large producer that it doesn’t seem like somewhere we need to go I guess, not totally sure why we haven’t stopped there because it’s on the main stretch going into Walla Walla. You have to pass it to get there. We just rarely drink Waterbrook wines. But this one just jumped out to be bought and drank. We are so glad it did. It was nice surprise we both really enjoyed it.”
