All About Wine on Wednesday

If you follow our blog at all you've probably figured out we have quite a passion and consumption for wine around here. Although during the school week grand meals aren't part of our daily routine wine surely is.

So we thought we'd try a post a week that we specifically ONLY share about the wine!
Our first Wine Wednesday post will showcase this wine.....
2008 Carneros Chardonnay from Larson Family Winery.

Vintage: 2008
Price: $30.00 purchased at winery
Sight: Golden deep (Hue)

Smell: Apple, pear, vanilla & butter
Taste: Oaky, smokey, vanilla flavors
Overall Impression: Very nice in the mouth, a little acidity, coated and lingered on the palate.

Occasion for wine: Our meal of rotisserie chicken, roasted potatoes and grilled asparagus. Inspired by our meal at Tyler Florence's Rotisserie & Wine in Napa California.

When & Where wine was first tasted: At the Winery in Sonoma, August 2011

Final Comments: Love this wine! Making us California Chardonnay drinkers/believers after all. Can't wait to hit up T's sister up to order us some more through the wine club that they joined on our trip.

Overall Rating: 4
