Grilled Pineapple

Okay, we apologize if you're sick of grilled fruits and vegetables but this was amazing and too easy not to share for anyone who hasn't yet grilled pineapple.


We tested our third test round of our contest burger recipe out on my dad on this evening (more on that after the contest hopefully) and a heavy dessert was not in order.

But a light grilled pineapple was perfect.

Truly you must make this you won't regret how easy and delicious it is...especially if you have a gas grill.


Our Grilled Pineapple Recipe:
1 ripe pineapple, peeled as sliced
1/2 Cup rum (dark: Meyers or Captain Morgan would work, we used Malibu this night...long story)
1 1/2 Tblspn brown sugar

Mix the rum & sugar in a bowl. Brush the pineapple with rum sugar sauce.Grill the pineapple long enough to get grill marks are both sides.

Serve warm. Great on ice cream with a little reduced rum sugar sauce too.\. But this was just the ticket for us on this evening. No ice cream needed.
